Really cold out west of Edmonton. -25ºC at about 11 in the morning. Lucky my finger did not freeze to the trigger on the camera. My first time out in this new year of 2015, and I think it all went well.This is a HDR image of five exposures on this winter's day. Hope you enjoy.

I love this photo because I can feel the winter chill when I look at it. The tire tracks and fences give this a country-side, quiet, calm feeling that makes me rather content when I look at it. Everything looks so crisp and the snow on the left looks untrondden, new, and beautiful. The barren trees look very wintery and I like how you can see them standing on both sides of the road and in the far off distance too. I love how you captured the little bit of clouds on the right and the rest of the sky is a crisp blue.
