We are very lucky in the UK as a whole, although the south of England is definitely where the bulk of the action is. The Royal International Air Tattoo, where this was taken, is one of the biggest military air shows anywhere, and the other photo you commented on, was taken at Old Warden, which is the complete opposite (very old aeroplanes flying slowly).
