The Rookie is your avatar from Halo3: ODST. He's a new recruit, but he's one tough hombre. We never see his face or even hear him speak, but he manages to pull his weight by the end. He's an awesome soldier.
Ren's thoughts: I just liked his character in general, his body movement and non-verbal communication made me giggle :3 like when he and the engineer just kinda' looked at each other after Buck and Dare kissed XD

The Rookie was very likable without ever saying anything. Like when he found the bent Sniper Rifle and he tried to bend it back lol "nice try but no"

I always loved ODST despite what people said, and I hate that game rader gave Halo: Reach's campaign a 7/10 and it's multiplayer a 9/10, but they gae MW2 fucking 10/10!?! Where's the logic in that!?! I loved where Bungie took ODST and Reach with better story telling and more cutscenes w/ more ally interaction that made you actually feel for the charecters.
They should TOTALLY remake Halo:CE &2 for the 360! And maybe even an ODST version of either Reach or Halo:CE.

How much did it cost and I wanna see pics of it!!! There was a guy last year at this sonvention I go to who had a like $300 Master Chief suit and this year there was a guy as an ODST with actual metal plating as well!

Just the helmet is $600 XD
WHOLE suit is $2000.
BUUUT The suit is VERY well made, and the Helmet has L.E.D. lights, Air conditioning, and Cusionning inside.

I always liked ODST better than regular Halo, mainly because of the exploration in between missions.

New Recruit? He's not really a new recruit, he's just the newbie to the team...Sorry, went all halo nerd for a moment there. He does look wicked awesome though. Very well done.

According to one of my friends who was playing through Reach on New Alexandria he actually found the Rookie, though I don't think his record shows him having been at Reach.

He was definitely a fun protagonist. I kinda hoped when I played it that 343 would make more games with this team of ODSTs, I think they'd be more fun to explore than dragging MC out of hypersleep for another go around...
