Description 12 Gromit - Wallace and Gromit
30 Character Challenge
Other Characters: [link]

I don't know how anyone could not love Gromit, the poor dear. He's so tenacious and clever, capable and very cute. Unfortunately his master is somewhat of a savant... a total idiot with a penchant for inventing things. I guess he's good at small business as well, but overall Wallace is very much a child. Gromit has to save him from all kind of strange and dangerous situations as well as run his house. But the dog loves his master dearly just like any other dog and suffers so much grief for it too....

... Wallace and Gromit are a great character duo and such a great example of classic stop motion animation. The Plasticine characters are so very expressive and the attention to detail is phenomenal. You don't see that kind of dedication often. I was a bit peeved when Flushed Away used CG with the Aardman artstyle, but I guess it had to be done. Either way I hope they never stop making shorts.

Oh wowie!....You comment impressed me so much ...Really <3

Oh I didn't knew you liked Wallace and Gromit! I haven't heard about that show before, except for a mention in a trailer on TV about a movie about them, and the animation caugh my attention, but honestly I have to say I didn't mind to watch the movie cos when I saw that trailer about it seemed it was going to be other of these tasteless movie with silly characters, the same thing I thought with Monster's vs Aliens before watching it! ...But your comment!! Your comment was so amazing!!! Man! I just loved what you said about Gromit! for what you say it looks like he's really cool character and a very loyal friend! And the way you drew him here it's just gorgeous! He looks so cute very expressive, and WAY prettier than the original! that makes me want to watch something about this character right now!!! Love his expression here it looks like he's wondering something I just love the fact you make his eyes expressive and cute without but any twinkle in them like many people do! ..Even I do it but you didn't in this pic and still it looks so nice!!
Well, I have to go cos, althought I we will Although I didn't went to the school today (and I planned to stay here to do my homework, and reply in your other pic) my dad will go to a political meeting to a near town, to support a friend of him, and he wants me to go too with my brothers and mom
But I wanted to write this before to go, cos I was so amazed by your comment!!
It was so sweeeet!

I recommend it.. .if you can find the short called "The Wrong Trousers" I bet you would like it a lot ^^ It's only 30 minutes long. I bet you can find in on youtube if you look for it!

Thanks for writing such a nice comment even though you were in a hurry!

Oh It was wholly a pleasure darling!! ^^ I’m so glad you liked my little comment! even if it was a bit hasty and has some wrong phrases When I wrote it I was in a place (I’m not quite sure how are called the places to rent internet in English) near my house where the computers are slow, and words took too long to show up = P, and my brother called me to go there, so I couldn’t finished it.
We have been going to those meetings since a few weeks ago, on Fridays, or Saturdays like yesterday, I had to go on sandals because I couldn't have time change them for shoes (the good thing is we didn’t have to walk so much lol: cos I broke a slipper on the road, there were many stones) That it’s always boring because you just have to stand there listening to people saying things that we will probably never see. We were there all afternoon and almost all night (we came home like 11 pm) but even so it was worth because I was in calm and happy knowing you had received my message!
Maybe I should have waited until today to writr, but Oh my! I just didn’t want to wait until today or some other day to tell you your comment here was really amazing!! OH GOD! It was awesome! and I want to emphasize this because it touched my soul! (as well the other comments from you about other characters you really love <3 of course) I just loved the simplicity of your description of him here, it was short and simple but yet precise and really warm! Sometimes I know nothing about some characters you talk and make art about, but your comments makes me want to know more! seriously. I don’t know if my comments can do that too but yours do it and that’s really awesome <3…It’s awesome to actually be able to make another people want to know more about a character!
Something I didn’t say yesterday, you’re right about what you say of the stop motion! The animation of this show is a great example of it! The characters are so expressive and detailed indeed! This style of animation always caught my eye, it’s very interesting and amused to see, but I think it can be quite difficult to make…Oh! In fact once when we were younger, my brothers, my sister and I tried to make a “movie” with that technique using my dad’s camera. It was an idea I had cos at that time I used to do plasticine sculptures of many things, we did a sort of clip, about a princess and a castle, they made the scenery and I made the characters, but it was quite difficult to do you know we took almost 4 hours making a video like 3 minutes long or something! And since then none of them wanted to make another video with that technique again! So I DO have much respect for those who make stop motion! I guess in professional hands the videos can take less time, but still is a big deal
Oh and I looked for the short you told me! But mostly I found tunes and some clips with little bits of it. I just saw this [link] And I loved the way they make the liquids like coffee and the jam, and how they make the characters chewing things and the expressions are so much fun to see! They animation is great! I think that’s the beginning but I’m not quite sure if it’s complete (and I didn’t get the last dialogue of Wallace, I’m not sure if it was cos there were new words, or if I still need the subtitles ) is it?..It seems the videos don’t have sequence, but I think I can look for it in some other place.
I think Wallace and Gromit never was translated because in mexico I didn’t heard of that, but I think the movie “the course of the were-rabbit” was translated or with subtitles to be sold here. Oh talking about shorts, there is another show of shorts I watched by chance on channel Yetix some time ago (well before was Yetix but now is “Disney XD” they always change the name) and I loved very much! It’s a series of shorts that tells us funny and cool stories about insects. I think it’s because I love insects but also because ti’s really cool! The characters are modeled in 3D and inserted into a real landscape real landscape, man! the animation it’s really a delight! and the stories are very funny, witty and creative, and brings us a fun new vision of the wonderful world of insects Each short is independent, and it’s full of action and creativity, the stories are fun because the humor is always there! And I think the best thing is that nobody talks So I don’t worry about if shorts are in Spanish or not! and that’s great cos I have much more possibilities to see this than any other show! This for example [link] look it

I know exactly what you are talking about with places that you pay for internet! We call those Internet Cafes ^^ Even if they aren't actually a Cafe. They're more popular in big cities. They don't have a lot of them around here where I live so you have to go to a library and use the computers there.

And I found the Wrong Trousers for you! it's in english though, but that should be okay. It's not hard to understand by watching the characters what the story is: [link] This is part 1 of 2, you can click down below and find part two.

Miniscule was very cute! I love that spider... the way he uses his long limbs to move so slowly and how his face never changes even when the flies are attacking! He's my favorite.

I am thinking about going to..... wherever you live and proposing to you. I m n love.

My family is big fans of the Wallace and Gromit movies. I have them all, and I love them all.
As does my mom, who wants me to print this out so she can make a pottery slab piece with it one it.

But I know about the copyright, so... Can I print this picture out, so my mom can use it to make a picture of Gromit on a pottery piece that she will make, and possibly sell? (If you don't want it to be sold, I will make sure it's not.)

It's going to take a few weeks, for drying, bisque, glazing, then the final firing. If it survives the firing processes...

But I'll show it!

Remember in The Wrong Trousers, where he's riding that model train that's moving at like 60 MPH, he swipes a box of tracks and starts laying them down so fast his arms become a blur?

Classic.
