I feel that design 1 makes her look more confident and have a can-do attitude. I like the second design for its chill factor.

outfit #2 certanly looks more generic. I feel outfit 1 has more personality to it.

Well I definitely like the first outfits with that checkered sash. The second one's plain, but has a nice color scheme.

The left one looks vaguely taller...

Maybe not, but it was about the question of if they looked like the same person.

I prefer the original design myself but the new one is still awesome. The shirt she's wearing seems more modern than the pants do. Mainly because of the v-neck collar.

I really love the design of Cat on the left. Her hair looks great tied up. And yes they look like the same girl.

Oh good, I'm glad to hear the original design still holds up. I feel like the right still needs some tweaking, but since it'll never be actually seen in the novel outside of descriptioins there's always room to improve it ^^

Outfit 2 looks much more modern, but that might just be the pants. It definitely looks like the same girl.

Oh good! the plot takes place in a semi-modern fantasy setting where most the girls wear dresses, the pants would bring attention to her, but definitely violate any previous description passed on by the authorities.
