here is a pic of the x-men's, northstar. i drew him in the fashion i've been drawing pics lately. in his case, his current and classic costumes.this is one of 6 pieces and i were asked to do. i can't give out too much info but will give more info when i can.

I'm not a big fan of Northstar (mainly because in his early days he was such a jerk), but he's really improved in recent years. It is a great pic of him (I noticed you've included his elf ears), and should be great coloured.

In the comics, I think the new costume looks way too busy. Streamlined like this, the elements seem to come together much more smoothly. Very nice.

Yes, the same elements are all there (aside from the new footgear, obviously), but even though I'm digging Perkin's art on AXM and like how he handles Karma and Warbird's outfits, I don't like how he portrays some elements of the new Northstar design all that much. As an example, where the wrist/leg wraps in AXM look like randomly placed bandages, here they look more like bracers.
