If realism is hard working artworks, then the expressive impressionism is about imagination and a fun way to create works of art. Here is how an impressionist would paint.
No initial sketch. Abstract painted as my gut tells (credit: composition followed a tutorial). It takes half of the time I usually work, because I skip the drawing step--which I'm not really good at ; and because I don't have a specific image in front of me, I don't push myself to analyze and copy the exact same thing. I'm somewhat a perfectionist (not always but yeh..ha ha), so staying loose is a new approach for me. Definitely will try some more
