Great work. I've just featured this image in a feature post on b&w abstract architectural photos. See: [link] Keep up the excellent work.

Thank you! This was a single RAW exposure shot I think although a HDR would admittedly have been pretty cool.

YES!!! I too love taking pictures of this building, its just so interesting and abstract especally when taken from interesting angles. Here is my take on the building [link]

The very nature of the tiles give the it an almose CGI/Computer graphic look.

Love the b&w shot, gives is so much detail

For a building it's incredibly surreal and very striking, everything Future Systems seem to design is fascinating; like their Oxford Street unit [link]
I wish I could work for them one day!

Oh I've not seen that one ^^ I don't travel very well so going to Birmingham started out as a challenge as well as meeting a friend.

But soon found my self lost in a world of shapes, colours designs and a architecture.

Next I was to try macro, If only I had the money for a good macro lens. I can combine my other interest of DJing, with macro images of bits of my gear

Oh and thanks for the watch+

Oh, I thought this was at the 2010 expo xD So they have one in England...nice ouo Then again, this one and the expo one is different, but the concept is similar I think.

At first I thought this was graphics too xD

I have seen hundreds of literally identical photos of this god damn building, and they're way too easy to reproduce. Your other photos deserve much more recognition.

Jammy-P In reply to Joofl [2011-08-18 21:03:56 +0000 UTC]

True enough in some ways; I reckon it's just an excellent spot of architecture and thus attracts a lot of attention! Cheers though, I don't think it's one of my strongest shots either...
