6/27/11 edit: I modified this image to make the colors more vibrant. It was bothering me with how plain and greyish it was.

I did it pretty big (1200x1800) so I could print stickers later, but then sized it down to 25% for the web when I was done.

For the transparency, it depends slightly on what program you're using, but it should be similar in most (especially if they aren't really old versions). I was using SAI, and I saved it as a PNG. When doing so, you get two options... the second one (says something like "each pixel have transparency" I think XD ) means that all unpainted pixels on your canvas will remain transparent.

It should be similar in Photoshop and other programs.
