SPOILERS AHEAD~This is it. One of my favorite characters from Tales of the Abyss, and one who was never shown in the game in the first place. For this one I tried an Art Nouveau style, for fun. I will forever cry on this unfortunate child.

Well here's a comment that doesn't say much but I gotta say: I like your line here. :3 Clean, solid, not thick, not thin, has a hand-drawing feel which is nice. 
But yes, Ion. Having only seen the anime (and read the manga, as far as it goes) it sounds strange there was no sighting of him, the original one that is... but I guess not everything can be there for all to see.

Yes, the anime only briefly mentionned him (and he seemed so sweet and caring in the flashbacks too) but I *think* there was a special chapter about him in one of the volumes. Well, there is one that I read online, and we see a bit of his story and all and... Gosh I was shocked XD Game/anime-Ion being my favorite character, I was surprised that his "original" was.. sooo different! He's kinda psycho and hates everything and I'm just... what
But I love him also and I think he's such an interesting character even though he's far beyond the scenes XD (If you haven't read the chapter, I highly recommand it!) <3

It's important in this manga'ish-inspired style to have a distinct line that you yourself like, so... : D
I have read some (or most???) of the extra mangas surrounding Abyss, yea. : ) I think I have them on my laptop, actually... Oh yes, the "Gaidens".
