My second entry for the contest at
I'm going to have to post it as a sketch, because I just don't have time to do anymore work on it.

Tarzan and some friends are enjoying a snack when a visitor stops by.

I was browsing through some pictures of African animals when I stumbled on this little cutie, the Spotted Genet (Genetta tigrina) [link] This is the first image that came to mind, and I thought it would be perfect for the contest, seeing as it contains a few elements that make Tarzan so awesome.

The jungle - Ok folks, time to use your imagination. Let's pretend there is a half-way decent type background here... The backgrounds in Tarzan are amazing!! From the camp and the newly built/taken back by the jungle treehouse, to the lush leafy jungle and the stunning Elephant Falls... wow...

His mannerisms - All the little things that make him Tarzan, the different animal movements and such that he has adopted; such as the crouching position, and bent knuckles.

His bond with nature - Need I say more?

His personality - Although I failed like a speedboat tethered to tanker, I was trying to make him look curious. I love how curious he is, and how he throws himself into learning. I wish I could pick up things (ie languages) as well as he does.

Fun Fact #1 - I have to draw those monkeys more often. They're so cute, and there was only one in the movie.
Fun Fact #2 - Hidden Mickey alert.
Fun Fact #3 - I was going to add another monkey or two, but ran out of time. Maybe I'll add more whenever I get a chance to work on this again.
