Description This is a contest entry for 's weekly competition.

Credits are as follow:

Background:

Girl's head:

Girl's hand pose:

Dress:

Stars:

Basket of flowers:

Hut:

Fence:

I can't remember whose brush I used for the girl's hair so if you recognise this as your own, please tell me so that I can credit you right back.

This is my first competition entry and well, I'm so excited! But I'm having second thoughts to this. Somehow the whole image doesn't look or feel right! And I can't figure out why either.

Bah, it's ok. At least I'll leave with an experience. If I don't win, well, this is my first time anyway!

Really good improve n .n

Glad to see this new photomanipulation, it's really awesome *-*

However, I'd like to mark out some little things that I think may be improved ^^:
1-I would've chosen other thing instead of those star. Maybe flowers, lotus, or something like that so it looks in composition with the basket full of flowers C=
2-The blending is absolutly awesome; really, really good! Maybe you should try blending a bit more the arm, but don't worry, I'm very picky (lol)
3-I'd try to change the saturation and hue of the flowers in the basket so they dont stand out (that green and yellow doesn't look very good ^^)

Just 3 things I'm picky on, wow, that's really good (xDDDDD).
If you get a final edition of this photomanipulation, you have one of my favs for sure!!

Cya! n .n

Hehe, thanks.

Well, this is supposed to be a competition entry for ManipulateThis, and we were supposed to come up with a manipulation based on two stock images that they gave. And for mine, they gave an image of the girl's head and those stars. So.. The stars weren't really my pick. >.<

And I would love to change the saturation of the flowers! But then I lost the PSD file so I don't think I can do alot to the picture now. Boo.

Anyway, thank you.

You can still change the saturation ^.^

Make a new layer (in the .jpg/.png file), press cntr+shift+alt+e, so you duplicate visible layers. Afterwards, make the change in saturation/hue and erase everything you don't want.

Hope it is of your use C=

[And you're more than welcome! =*]
