I haven't been really active here in such a long time and sad to say, this is the only piece I've managed to come up with.
And people have been wondering about that face and the boat thingamajig and there's actually a story I should've told before this!
*ahem *clears throat
Well, it's not a story from any fairytale or book (Or maybe it is, I'm not sure). This piece was actually inspired (*chuckles I'm not even sure if I was inspired to do this!
) by me missing my boyfriend. He's away in Australia and I'm here in Malaysia and we're three hours different from each other. The man's face represents my boyfriend whom I hope is missing me and the girl represents me, missing him. >.< The boat is actually to symbolise that he's left (Although he left on a plane.
) and so.. Yea.Maybe the composition is abit weird. -_-" I don't know how else to put it! And the saturation... Well, I still tend to over-saturate my stuff. But I'll hopefully learn! So give me some time k?

Maybe I'd take the faded out man's face or the boat, they make the picture oversaturated with things while the composing 'asks' for simplicity.

I guess I should've told the story that made me think up this piece.

in a way i agree with you but not really cause in away it kinda tells the story.. with out it its just a girl in a dress in stead maybe bring the opacity down so you can still see the face and the boat but it doesn't look so busy

I was having quite a difficult time figuring out the composition for this one. I didn't have that "feeling" of it being nicely composed. >.< But I settled for this one anyway.
