I was hoping someone would combine the cartoon Maleficent (The One and Only!) with the latest incarnation... Bravo! She is infinitely more wicked-looking with that light green skin!

The eyes are truly creepy. I am having a hard time determining if you were going for the 1959 version of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty or the 2014 version with Angelina Jolie.

it is a mash up between the two! I like new Maleficent, but old school wicked and yellow eyed is my favorite. She has always been my favorite Disney character, I have her on a cookie jar with Ursula and the evil queen from snow white!
I love the villains, I am going to draw Ursula next and then Jafar perhaps
I did start from the Jolie poster but altered the brows to be more arched, the color scheme to match the older film and I amended the horns and clothing too. I think Jolie was a perfect choice to be cast as her, and though I loved the film I was almost disappointed she wasn't truly malevolent! Still, I also love that she wasn't... Disney rule!
