Mermaid art done in summer 2014 for a themed auction. unfortunatly did not find a new home yet
It is done in watercolor with a touch of white gouache and colored pencils on a piece of hot pressed watercolor paper approx. size DIN A4.

I've faved this but haven't commented? Well I really love the pearl chains of shells around her waist, the shell charms dangling from the rock, the shape of her fins, the shinning pearls in her hair and the whole color scheme. Really beautiful work.

Ok, first of all, you know i love everything about theme "Under The Moon", and infact your work totally deserved my love! 
But i admit, i love this work because, i don't know, but i see on her espression a sort of "paceful melancholy", like she know to be alone, but try to find company from the light of moon, or simply from the "music of the sea".
Wonderful colors, love the palette!
