Description done in acrylic and many sleepless nights blood sweat and tear and still not quite there yet but im pleased with the colors , my technique needs more tune up

wow, very nice indeed, im not sure what the reference way, i assume a photo since an owl wouldnt sit still for that long... and a dead owl wouldnt look like that either

but um, i'd add a bit more depth to the eyes, some highlights in the lower right or opposite where the deflection from the light source would be

you make it sound as though it's unfinished, where as i see it as such, but i know in my experience it never truly feels finished, but what ever happens it's an effort well spent :]

absolutely not ahahahahah. ringling was definately where it's at. art institute is full of pretentious-ass freakin kids who half-ass all their work and then call it "conceptual" because they know it's dogshit. essentially they believe over there that talking about the work is more important than the work itself. they throw around big words like "ambiguous" and "ambivalent" and "juxtaposed". lot's of ego stroking basically. but i'm graduated now and lookin to go to grad school at sva in their illustration mfa program

nope , str8 up color , the first layer was a dark red though . thank you for the nice comments !
