I like the blade at the bottom. Kinda reminds me of a sica but with a more celtic styled handle.

As model for that one, I used two daggers from early iron age, found from finland.

What type of metal do you use to forge them?

All kind of random softer steels.

Very cool! I like the leaf (feather?) and the snake.
How big is everything approximately?

Thanks. Some of these are pretty large. Smaller axe is 11cm long and snake 7,5cm from tail to nose, for example. I have made lots of smaller leaf pendants also, similar style but about 5-7cm long. That one in picture is about 13cm.

Nuo kirveetkin ovat kieltämättä mukavan realistisen muotoisia verrattuna yleensä aika tyyliteltyihin kirvesriipuksiin.

Joo, hain niissä realistista muotoa, mutta mittasuhteista otin senverran vapauksia että terät on liioitellun kokoisia, erottuu ainakin paremmin. Toisaalta oikeammilla mittasuhteilla voisi näyttää paremmaltakin näin jälkeenpäin noita katsellen.
