Description This piece started as a cover for a Chinese graphic novel, but somehow I lost the contact to the client, however as I already had the sketches and color layout and all the work involved, I decided to tweak it to my own needs and finish it. It was a good working exercise and much fun to do, hope you like it.

Thanks for the comment ! Ummm, figures in the background? really, cool was not intended, but if you see something it speaks for your imagination, Now i have to take a look and figure out what you probably see in the background...

Hi Henning, always special for me to hear from you my friend . Well, about the β€œlost contract” no bad feelings there, I could have finished it and the client sure had paid me for the work, but somehow I felt he doesn’t really need it any longer so we stopped the project in both agreement. The whole thing was two years ago. I just still had the the unfinished piece laying around on my harddrive and needed a break from an ongoing very complex commission and played around with this one over the Easter weekend . Was a nice working exercise and a much appreciated break from the ongoing job . Glad you like it.
