I did this a while back but was not sure if anyone would be interested. Since Robin will eventually be replaced (even though Damian should have never been killed), i started wondering what Harper Row would look like as a Robin. Then I thought why can't Nightwing have a sidekick. Just some thoughts so let me know what you think. ThanksRelated content

Okay, so here's a question of curiousity. Why do you have two depictions of her revealing her legs, but not a single one of the male characters having revealed legs? Not even the male Robins? I mean... there ARE depictions of Robin with revealed legs, if you didn't know. I'm really sorry if I come of as being a bothering feministic jerk or something, but... it's really not about that. I'd be fine with female characters revealing skin and looking sexy and such, IF they do the same for male characters. But no one does. It's so weird how we still to this day view the target audience of superhero stuff to be heterosexual males... I'm more than sure they aren't even half of the fanbase. There are straight and lesbian and bisexual and asexual females, there are gay and bisexual and asexual males... that SHOULD without a doubt be more than half of the fanbase.
I know not everyone is comfortable discussing this... and I will leave you be with it if you so wish. I'm just sharing my thoughts, since... well, your description suggest you want to know opinions on it.

Well if you notice on the Supergirl and Harper Row pics, both are concepts. They are several idea I threw around in my head. Supergirl is based entirely on how I think she would have looked in Young Justice. Yes Dick was bare legged in the comics but he was never bare legged in the Young Justice cartoons. Harper was just an idea I threw around. Some were bare legged, most were not. She is a new character who at the time was not a costumed crime-fighter. I think the only other concept I did was Jason Todd and that is just because people asked for him. I have zero interest in that character.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
Almost every drawing I have done is based on the comic book design except for my X-Men drawings. And I do not think any wear outfits that are too revealing or overtly sexual. I also do not think I draw girls having ridiculous proportions. In fact I make a comment on my Magik drawing about how her current revealing costume is a bit ridiculous. I can't change the past nature of comics to put female protagonists in ridiculous costumes but I like to think that my current work does not fall into that category.

Damian should have never been anyone's sidekick but Dick's. It just made sense and they were great together.Β

Actually I read somewhere that she wasn't made to take Robin's place. Β Snyder just wanted a Gotham resident in play. Β It looks more likely that DC's gonna force Carrie Kelly on us and turn that world into Miller's Dark Knight world.
