"Himeko Inaba" © Jason OgayonWatercolor practice for today: apply wet-on-dry technique on dark areas then add more water to brush and paint the remaining areas. Looks good to me, I actually like this more than the wet-on-wet technique I’ve been using before. Colors are more consistent now and I won’t need to do lifting anymore (except on certain occasions). Prang watercolors on Moleskine watercolor paper.

Ah, I'm using Prang watercolors and this practice piece is on a moleskine watercolor paper. The Prang brand is alright (and they are not pricey too), a lot of my friends and artists that I admire use them.
