Hey there guys! Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile! Exams are just around the corner and I've been finishing up a lot of projects and studying, so I've been
preeety busy Anyways for this piece I decided to redo a concept I made a while back, so this is pretty much my second attempt at doing it, a lot has changed by the idea still sorta remains

I was really trying to illustrate a story through this, in order to represent a powerful theme, that being Greed.
The story I wanted to portray in this painting goes something like this :
The king fought, bled, betrayed (represented by the run downed castle) and killed for his wealth thinking that it was all that ever mattered. All his subjects and followers have abandoned him leaving him all by himself to die alone with his vasts amount of wealth and riches. This man had everything in life, he was a well respected man who had many followers, and even ruled a kingdom however he was overwhelmed by his never ending lust for more power, money, and wealth, losing everyone he loved, and those who had respected him in the process. He had obtained riches that no man can spend in a lifetime, however what use is having all of this gold and riches if it serves you little to no purpose in the end? Even with all the money in the world it will not make you truly happy if you use it all for selfish means, keeping it all to yourself.This man's greed ultimately led him to his downfall.

There’s a bit more to it, but I’ll leave the rest for you guys to interpret Lemme know what you guys think of it, and your interpretations of this piece
