i watched this movie for the trillionth time a few days ago...oh my freaking god i LOVE MULAN!!! favorite disney character ever!! yay for women empowerment!!!so yes this scene is overdone but i wanted to do a very quick speed paint of it in my style because i was just extremely inspired!

I remember when I was a kid watching this scene and I was like, "NO!!! You're beautiful hair!" at the same time, crying for how touched I was because of how Mulan put her life on the line just for the sake of her father's safety.

And the villain was very creepy! I get all worked up in the end scene after she reveals she was the one who caused the avalanche, and then he chases her. HOLY MOTHER that's terrifying...
