Not sure where this one came from, but I 'painted' it while watching my bro' as he was playing Halo2 multiplayer online.I think it took two hours... maybe three.
Those small dots in the water ahead of Leviathon are pilot whales, just to give ya a sense of how big the creature is.

I love the movement of this... the monster's body lines are just so clean and smooth... it looks like it might very well be alive.

To me, this looks like a cross of a whale (Obviously) and a Plesiosaurus, the tail is elongated a little, but theres still some simarlarity.

If the ship doesn't give a sense of scale, then the whales certainly do. Almost looks prehistoric, and also makes me think of a whale, just with pointy teeth and a reallly long tale.

u should check the size of that ship in comparison with the wales...its too big

only problem is that... i mean its an interesting design, but the proportion with the waves, and also the whales... sould mean that those waves are in excess of thousands of feet... not ot mention the ship in the back ground, if brought to the foreground in relativity to it's implied distance... would be about the same size in proportion to a normal whale...
its a marvelous idea, but in regards to it's size, the scenery and items around it must be kept in consistency to it's size in order to the desired impact to be recognized
i made that sound way to... "im so smart"
basically just keep in mind that the whale is huge, so the stuff around it should be relative to it's size ;D
but i do like the way you made the leviathon (traditionally a beast portrayed with spikes and claws) ...into more of just a docile-appearing monstrosity that's just ridiculously long

This is without doubt an amazing piece of work. The size astounds me, along with the dark sense of beauty that surronds the creature. My only question at first was what it ate, but then I threw the question away so I could stare at it some more.

Another freaking awesome ceature. I love how it's all dark and dreary, and the boat adds to that quite a bit, just thinking about what'd it be like to see something like that.
