i loved the effect of only having shading/ details on his points of interest/accessories so his body doesnt actually have any shading
im suuuuper happy with how the shading on his eye, grills and the chains came out, esp the red glow/highlights aaaa
and it just looks so fucking good im screaming okay look at this fucking guy

i just wanna say this now that even tho he has character concepts of troy calypso from borderlands 3, hes not actually him reinvented into a dog, he has a lot of differences in his personality and lore but i just like to draw him with certain elements of troys character bc i really like that guy and he has similarities and design aspects that i really like

woah, DUDE, those highlights are really impressive!! honestly, one of my favourite things is that they're reflected on grills-- and how well the texture on the collar is made, the shading really helps to emphasize it :^D Troy's expression is very nicely done, too, you can clearly read the emotions from this one!

The texture detail on the clothing is great. The chain and collar read well for the materials they are intended to be. That nice dark shadow on the body matches well with the shading in the accessories.

That whole section of their body reads as darker then screen left FOR SOME REASON.
It's probably because of the percent that the black markings takes up versus on the other side of their body.
