not really, it's all done by hand in an hour or two. Basically I start with base color add shadows then highlights, using a minimum of four colors for each area.

Wow! Most pictures of Reyson on dA are either kind of crappy or just copies of the official artwork (or both). This is really, really neat. His pose is incredibly dynamic and I love the sense of perspective you've given this.

Oh, this is a wonderful picture of Reyson. The perspective and emotion you dished out in this is absolutely amazing. His desperation to get out of that place (not that I blame him. Ew. Oliver.) has been captured flawlessly. Not to mention your coloring is --far superior to mine. I fail with colored pencils or any coloring at all. I hope to see more from you.
