Description
Here is my rendition of Seel's character..Seel the dingo. Wielding her kusarigama, she is eager to cut down an opponent.Seel is good people. Her art is good times too, this was a pleasure to work on.
Sadly the scanner eats the ink lines for lunch which are actually very solid on the original. Too many small things to keep integrity at this image size.
Everything from character to background text done with mechanical pencil and inked with techpens on bristol.

Well I was browsing my Fav's and saw this again and I was wondering now that I'm in art school and working with a lot of inks that I haven't much knowledge using, what did you use to make this?
I'm not sure if techpens are an actual brand name not

steadtler thinliners, non acidic.
realistically though i have used a lot of different ones..zig and other brands. all I pay attention to is that they are non acidic..and cheap.

Haha alright because my professor was suggesting copic's but hell A. they are expensive and B. hardly anyone carries them here or even online for a decent price.
But thank you I'll keep a mental note to look for non acidic brands. I'll take a look at my steadler's at least we got some of those in are kits.

Everyone says copics are great, and I am sure this is the case, but honestly..I've gotten the same results with cheapo pens. If you know what you are doing, it counts a bit more in that area than what you are doing it with 9within reason, as to say I wouldn't ink with a crayon).

Flexible or Chained weapons are my favs! again with this crazy perspective of your dude XD I love how the chain actually looks like a chain moving. I feel that not a lot of people pull off realistic ones like that XP

Is there any possibility to get the original scanned file? I mean, to work and color it in the detailed way the picture deserves, it would be awesome to get a 300dpi version of the original drawing, to work with... if that's not too much trouble ^_____^ *beams*

Hahaha, yep, Seel's character is awesome, I can perfectly understand why people loves to draw her ^^ And you did a really good work, I like the perspective and the pose you chose, not to mention your inking skills....

This is simply amazing. You got her character down so well.. and so detailed! It's definately one of the best I've ever seen of her character. And in Black/White too! Incredible. I've gotta favorite this... It's like I'm being ordered to!
