Description This is Patchfoot of SkyClan.
Name: Patchfoot
Gender: Male
Clan: Rogue (formerly), SkyClan
Rank: Warrior
Mate: Clovertail
Daughters: Birdshade, Honeyflower
Son: Sandyfoot

I felt like drawing more SkyClan cats, so here's Patchfoot. ^^ Bit of a random one, but I put together a list of SkyClan cats based on the allegiances of each book, and Patchfoot just happened to be next on the list. I really can't remember much about Patchfoot or his personality, all I really remember is him getting that really nasty rat bite that Spottedleaf helped treat. It's been a while since I read any books with SkyClan, though, other than the newest ones, so maybe I'm just forgetting.

Anyway, onto his image. I imagine Patchfoot being a bit on the bigger, more thickly built side, but he's only a little taller than average, and he's not hugely bulky or anything. I always imagined him with a thicker pelt, so I gave him a thick, medium-length pelt here. I think it's a good look for him. ^^ He's got average ears, largish eyes, a wide, blunt muzzle and a broad sorta head. I made his hips broader than his shoulders since he's descended from SkyClan cats, I think, unless I'm mistaken. I gave him a fair few scars, since he lived as a rogue before joining SkyClan, and probably picked up a few good scars from that. Plus, he's been in a good few battles since joining SkyClan. The larger scar on his shoulder is the rat bite that got infected in Firestar's Quest.

I've been designing a lot of white-patched cats with less white on their pelts lately, so I wanted to make this design have more white on the pelt. I think I definitely came up with something distinctive and different from some of my mother designs. ^^ I especially like the splash of black on his nose, above one eye, and how that looks with the black on the upper half of one half of the face. I tried to put more black on the back half of his pelt than the front, though there's a bit of black on the front. I definitely tried to justify the name Patchfoot with all of the patches I put on his hind legs - I think it looks realistic, and it fits the name well, as well as looking good on him. ^^

Overall, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. ^^ Up next is Berrynose.
