I read the comments, I know. I just want to look at their other work. It's very impressive. When I go for non-transforming figures, I go for statues rather than customs.

Mike is the man... I was kinda ..somewhat down your way yesterday.. to pick him up. He was in Jersey and I figured it was worth me driving down to get him instead of risking shipping. OK I was in the Northern end of the state though.

Is cool. Thanks for dropping in, even if it was in the North. Don't stay a stranger.

I had gotten the movie version of him, but I hated how big he was, and his joints were terrible, so i took him back :<

Absolutely incredible! Frenzyrumble is a god!! It's just too bad he doesn't transform. Still, Hasbro needs to do Jazz next for the MP line! Or Soundwave.

As I have said 100 times to the non transforming factor... I didnt want him to because I did not want all the extra kibble.. I wanted him correct.. I wanted his legs to be right.. you can not do that with a transforming figure.... PLUS .. when you spend $700-$1000 for a custom.. you don't play with it.

AleximusPrime In reply to Jazz935 [2012-01-15 03:19:07 +0000 UTC]
Eh, not entirely. I've seen some transforming figs that are somehow manageable enough to not have too much kibble: custom or official.
And............you spent 700-1000 on him?

I only deal with the best customizers in the country.. not some hack.. this figure in MP scale..( he is nearly 12 inches tall) and most of him is hand fabricated.. not just repainted parts. It should be noted that I am a collector .. not a fan girl. I have over 700 figures and 14 customs. I have been into Transformers for 28 years. and the only way to do a correct G1 figure like this ..key word.. correct.. is to make him non transformable

and it took him over 100 hours to make.. so it works out to.. he made minimum wage to make it. This is the point I try to make when explaining customs. and cost

Wowsers, this took a year?! This is pretty impressive, and a shame it can't transform. But this has been well created, you should be proud x)

When you pay close to $1000 to have a custom made. You don't play with it anyway.. and having then transform adds parts that make them ... Not correct. You display a custom in robot mode too therefore who cares if it transforms. And yes it took over a year because most of it is scratch built. The figure stands a foot tall. And I am not the customizers only customer
