Description I'm only uploading this because I've been working on it for a little while and don't really know what to do about his head. This is an Alani TAI spider, so I want it to be robotic, but also more human than a pile of artificial eyes or something.

So I'm gonna ask you, my faithful audience, what do you think?

it looks pretty cool! But what's it supposed to be/do?

Ah, I see! So it was intended as a construction unit?

Interesting. No idea what to do with the head, I agree that it's a tricky thing. I do hope the abdomen is heavily armored though, it's a big target.

That, and they're a bit of nightmare spawn for the more impressionable kids XD

...and for the least impressionable too

Why do they need to be visible? That abdomen module could quite as easily contain an active electromagnetic spectrum sensor suite yet not have anything visible to draw attention/ target of a would be attacker.

Well yes, but it would be boring and kinda cheap to just say "He has eyes, but you can't see them." And while these robots would be occasionally involved in combat, that's certainly not their main use. I want to be able to show them looking around and such.

That's kinda what I was thinking, I built quite a few robots like this

And looking at my design, it actually doesn't look anything like any of these- [link]

Funny, people say that about pretty much every spider-like robot out there.

It's obviously going to have robotic eyes, I'm just looking for feedback on how they should look.
