This life isn't easy, as I may wish it to be.
So many twists and turns,
I must face
But,
Lately I just want out
This life, here, that I live
Seems to have no promises
Only broken ones that have long since faded
Deep, into what can never be
I just want what I once had
This sadness is weighing down my heart
Sometimes it feels as if my heart will never be happy
The sunshine never seems to brighten my day
Only makes me sad inside
I feel this life will never change
I can't change what has happened
I know this,
But, I need a new change
New smile,
New face,
This life I will leave
And start anew
