I still haven’t seen either one of the Equestria Girls movies. But I don’t think the idea of a humanized My Little Pony AU is inherently bad in itself. Everyone on DA seems to have their own human take on these characters, so I gave it a shot myself a few months ago, just for fun. I tried to make it a blend of the Equestria Girls designs and my own style, and I also incorporated each girl’s cutie mark somewhere into her wardrobe. Can you find them all?Related content

I saw the first movie. Take it from me: DON'T. It's... bad.
I really like how you did Twilight (stylish and yet bookish), Applejack and Fluttershy.

Cute! Dash has a lot of sass, haha. And I like the earrings on Rarity and Twilight. I love your take on them, and seeing them in your style is so fun, whether it's as ponies or people. You really capture them well, especially Twilight. I love it. And Spike is a cutie over there with his fluffy hair.
I thought the first EG movie was pretty cool, though strange and cheesy (but it's made to seek dolls, so of course we all expected that). I liked the second one a lot more. Since the rules of the concept are established, it's more just natural scenes with the characters playing off each other. I thought it was a great example of good female characters all holding a plot and Maud Pie was in it in one hilarious (to me, anyway) scene.
BUT I'd say there's nothing in EG that would be a real shame to miss out on.

Twilight and Rarity's is on their earrings, RD's is her tattoo, Fluttershy's is her hair decal, Pinkie's is on her shirt and AJ's is her bolo tie.
If you have to see any of the EG, you should likely see "Rainbow Rocks", its gotten a much warmer reception and Sunset Shimmer's goal of redemption is rather compelling.

You did a fantastic job in this. I've yet to see the second Euestria Girls movie, but the first one isn't really tha bad if you're interested in seeing it.

Heh... You know if they really want to do the whole ponies in the real world thing, they should have let them come to our world. And not the human world as seen in the Equestria Girls movies, I'm actually talking about OUR world, the live-action world with flesh and blood humans, sorta giving it that classic Roger Rabbit/Cool World vibe. They could even have a cute scene where the ponies meet their creators and voice actors for the first time.
I mean hey, if Donald Duck could do it, so can the Mane 6, as well as the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

I had a fanfic in mind that used that premise, where the Mane Six and Spike wound up in a portal to our world. They landed in San Diego just before Comic-Con, and they teamed up with a male fan of the show who tried to hide them from the public. Twilight Sparkle had one of her trademark emotional snits when she found Equestria Daily and discovered all the people bitching and moaning about how they liked her better before she was a princess.
I didn't write it, though, 'cause I knew I had to have been about the millionth person to come up with that idea.

Everybody's got a good look to them. (I still think Maude's Boulder would have worked much better as a necklace.) I like the beret' and the bolo tie. Rain seems to have a bit of the punk rock to her.

Why is it that every human version of Rainbow Dash I see always has a bare midsection? Not saying it's bad. It's just strange that just about every version I see always has it. Is it because she's athletic and sporty? Is it 'cause she's a tomboy?

Ya know, if you ever get around to inking this, I wouldn't mind making an attempt at coloring it. I think it'd be a lot of fun. Also a bit of a challenge as well.

The Equestria Girls movies are way way better than they have any right to be. Sunset Shimmer is a unique protagonist, especially in My Little Pony, in that she starts out as the Big Bad and has to make up for her crimes while learning how to be a friend and all of that magic jazz. It's a lot more interesting than Twilight Sparkle's journey in it's own way.

I say give them a chance. I liked the first one, it had faults, but it was cute. The second one was even better. Plus there's a character in the Equestria Girls universe that I think you would have a lot of fun with. She has a ton of depth and development between the two movies. Anyway cutie marks. Rarity and Twilight's ear rings, AJ's bolo tie, Dashie's tat, Flutters' hair clip, and Pinkie's shirt.
