I'll freely admit that I like how gold and his skin turned out (even of it did take me three and a half multiply layers) but I sill can't sake off the feeling that something's missing :-/

I completely understand! First things first, right? You can always try to come back at it later, but then again... even if you don't, he still has that glowing, mysterious quality to him. You know, I'm pretty sure you could've passed it off as completed, had you not been so honest!
