After finishing Order of Equestria, it's only fair that the original crossover pic gets finished as well.Here's the regular pony version of Octavia as Shanoa (Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia), originally sketched as a weekly entry for the #MLP-ATG-Alumni group (pony outfits).

You mean the fanmade game? I haven't tried it yet actually.
I've finished all of the metroidvanias. Old-school Castlevania games are another matter though, as I've only managed to beat the first one on the NES (no save states, etc).

ah, okay because I actually tried out "Ponyvania: Order of Equestria" and even though Gilda (yes, the griffon we all love to hate) is being a massive pubic bush by always beating me and not letting me progress through the level, the game itself is amazing and everything about it just blew me away!

Never struck me just how similar Octavia and Shanoa was. I really loved the game so seeing this picture makes me happy.
(The fact that it works perfectly as a wallpaper makes me even happier.)

Castlevania Order of Ecclesia is one of my Castlevania games and this pic of a pony does it good.

Octavia seems like the calm, serious type, as the show hasn't given her a lot of emotional expressions so far. So that's one similarity I saw with her and Shanoa (who practically has no emotions in the game's story). And of course, both characters have long black hair.
Another subtle influence might because OoE's soundtrack seems to use a lot of strings compared to the other Castlevania games I've played. And Octavia plays a string instrument.
