during a road trip in nebraska i came across this super rare car. i dont know much about checkers other than they made a lot of taxis.Related content

In the early 1960s they were offered to the public in sedan or station wagon form. The Superba was the base model and the Marathon was a bit fancier. Checker Motors had no regular dealerships, you had to pick your car up at the factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
