Grumpy and Ralph for me by this guy

Grumpy is funny. "Why do these things always happen to me?" Lol. If you watch The Raccoons episode The Paper Chase, you can hear Grumpy's voice in the scene where Ralph slips in the puddle of ink and gets mad.

Thanks for favoring and commenting.

I just found out that Bob Dermer was born in 1946, so he started voicing Ralph at age 33/34.

Thanks for the info. I'll correct it soon.

Cool update.

Thanks. Ever since I came across the website Behind the Voice Actors, I've found a lot of characters they voiced. I didn't think Bob and Susan did more voices then Ralph, Mellissa, Toof and Wendo, but they did and now I'm going to do another of Len Carlson. Apparently he was Rip Tide, from Spring Fever. When I do the rest of my ReBoot ones, Kathleen Barr is going to be the hardest. The voice of Dot. She's had a lot of rolls.

A lot of the talent on the Raccoons do play quite a few additional voices be they minor or guest character roles as it saves money.

Is that muscle pound animal Rod Steel (with the one on his shirt)? What's the name of the episode he's from?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JDayton In reply to b1k [2015-05-30 02:46:45 +0000 UTC]

That's right it is Rod Steel. He only appears, along with his father Robin Steel, on the final episode Go For Gold.

Wait that's the final episode of 'The Raccoons'?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JDayton In reply to b1k [2015-05-30 12:32:58 +0000 UTC]

Unfortunately yes. They had plans to keep the series going for a 6th and maybe 7th season, but one of Kevin Gillis's producers hid the Go For Gold episode from him, before they could air it and they had a huge argument later after they produced The Nutcracker Prince, voiced by Kiefer Sutherland, which was a bombshell at the box office and Kevin Gillis has stated he no longer wants anything to do with producing the show. There was a script written for a Raccoons movie called As Long As Forever, but unfortunately it's been put on hold due to a lack of funding. Did you know that originally the 11th episode Gold Rush was supposed to be the final, but the show turned out to be more popular than anticipated, so they produced 4 more seasons, totaling 60 episodes. Well 64 if you count the 4 specials.

65, if you divided the Lost Star special in half.

I can't believe the same person who voices Ralph also voices Lady Baden-Baden! I would like that character more, but her voice is really grating on my ears, if I must be honest...I'm not criticizing Dermer's voice acting, just saying I don't like the voice he gave her

JDayton In reply to GoodCaptainClack [2015-05-28 12:30:22 +0000 UTC]

Well one things for sure, it shows he has talent. Until I did my research, I was convinced Lady Baden Baden was voiced by a different actor. After doing these collages, now I understand why Nicky4 had Toof and Wendo ending up married in Trapped on Mount Vulcan. Lol.

I just remembered Bob also played Frostbite; Professor Cold Heart's assistantΒ in the 1984 Care Bears series.

JDayton In reply to David31 [2015-04-13 05:21:02 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for telling me. I just added him. I also found out while searching for him on Care Bears Wiki that Len Carlson was the voice of Professor Coldheart, so he will be in my other Len Carlson Collage. Thanks again and I just found out from someone else that Marvin Goldhar was the voice of Beastly, so I'll have to add him to my Marvin Goldhar collage. I hope you like it and yes I submitted it to The Raccoons, but we'll just have to see if they'll take it.

David31 In reply to JDayton [2015-04-13 13:29:12 +0000 UTC]

I'm afraid you're wrong about Marvin Goldhar, it was John Stocker who played Beastly, not him. You are correct about Professor Cold Heart though, Len only played him in the TV series, but notΒ the 2 TV specials that pre-dated it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JDayton In reply to David31 [2015-04-13 13:32:47 +0000 UTC]

I know and I didn't add him. I guess the one that said that though Cedric sounded the same.

David31 In reply to JDayton [2015-04-13 13:37:42 +0000 UTC]

Or hasn't had enough experience hearing the two actors. Mr. Beastely to the best of my knowledge was a Nelvana exclusive character and never appeared in the 1984 DiC series, so that's why I mentioned that.

JDayton In reply to David31 [2015-04-13 13:42:17 +0000 UTC]

I see. Thanks for pointing it out. Better that I did some more research and didn't mess it up. I almost messed up on Len Carlson, because I forgot to add Nat Juice and The Monster across the street.

Thanks for favoring and commenting. I'm glad you like them. Like I was telling ChipmunkRaccoon what was weird was I couldn't find his birthday or where he was born, just like with Sharon Lewis. These photos are pretty easy to find. I just search on Google.

David31 In reply to JDayton [2015-04-11 02:16:30 +0000 UTC]

Well hopefully it's the actor and not some other person with the same name.

I've submitted your other actor collages to The Raccoons group, I guess we'll see if they'll get accepted or not?
