Character created by *JDCONEIllustrated by Eric Blumrich perhaps the best damn illustrator you've never heard of.
Here's one of the first Oswald's Eric ever did for me.
The piece is impressive he did it on 14x17.
I have to get this framed up and hung on my wall finally.

I love the crosshatching. It makes me feel like this was a preserved classic brought back to life. I like the little fellow holding the quill- he looks clever, the way you drew him.

I'm not too familiar with that technique, but I do know that Eric intended it to look like a wood carving.
