This is a great shot Jeremy, I know technically we always strive for the pin sharp shots, but then a bit of blurr just helps to convey the message of raw speed and power.

I think we tend to be too harsh on ourselves at times, expecting these flawless images, we forget that these planes are chucking at serious knots, and my opinion is that the perfect pin sharp image can sometimes appear like a plastic model dangling in the sky.

I am at a handicap with my lens, although good, it comes nowhere near the high end VR prime lenses,

So I have to add some ingenuity and creativity to make up for that.................................

PS: I love the over the shoulder look into the cockpit, it really brings you closer to the pilot's world.

Thank you. It took awhile to finally get the lens I wanted. The only new lens I own is the one that came with the D70. I try and save some cash by buying used and have had good luck so far.

Thanks for being a regular visitor. If you ever make it out west for an airshow drop me a line.

Thanks for the invite Jeremy,

I would love to visit the States but with this economic meltdown and our currency in the doldrums it is just not possible at the moment,

Will keep on dreaming though.....................................

That mist takes a little bit away from being as sharp as it could be though.
