Apple was NOT PHOTOSHOPPED IN. Fishing strings used to hold the Rome apple in place.
Self timer, so composition took awhile; this was the best one. Tone editing and color balancing in post editing.

not that many...about 30 probably...i assumed that if i couldnt see the camera lens because the apple was in the way, then the camera couldnt see me i.e. my face was blocked by the apple

yeah I agree...i used some dark vignetting to mask the weird shadows

The idea, the concept...once again, that's why I like your stuff. Wonderful take on magritte and his somewhat confusing pictures...also, clever setup you have there, simple but effective. No CG, after all
