quail eggs are fantastic.
I like the clinical aspect of this - it looks like an exhibit in a natural history museum or something. but it's also got a touch of whimsy, which is nice.

ArtRats [2011-01-07 01:43:01 +0000 UTC]

u really think about the detail, notice the eggs had the same shadow (same angle)
this is simple yet beautiful . i adore u

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeanFan In reply to ArtRats [2011-01-07 02:04:38 +0000 UTC]

Well this is a photo not a drawing...so the lighting I used for the photo makes all the eggs have the same shadow angle naturally I think you give me too much credit

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtRats In reply to JeanFan [2011-01-07 02:56:24 +0000 UTC]

yes i know this is a photo haha sorry my english is not very good so u must be misunderstood

i just thought that , this work is very detail even it's shadow hehehe (argh mu english is superbad)

what do u mean with " i think you give me too much credit " heheh

anyway i want to upgrade my camera , from d40x to d80 like yours because my camera is broken. so what do u thing? do i make a right choice for choosing d80?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeanFan In reply to ArtRats [2011-01-07 03:09:46 +0000 UTC]

Oh Just ignore what I said then It's not important.

There are many new/better models than the D80 now. I think you should research all the Nikon models and see which ones meet your needs - lens compatibility, memory card compatibility, sensor size, functions, etc. I'm sure you can find all the information you need online using search engines

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtRats In reply to JeanFan [2011-01-07 03:13:46 +0000 UTC]

sure, some of my friends told me to buy d90 but i dont have enough money so my only option is d80 , so i should change my option?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeanFan In reply to ArtRats [2011-01-07 03:38:04 +0000 UTC]

Honestly, I'm not an expert on cameras and I don't know what your photographic needs are so it's probably best to do some research on your own in order to come to an educated decision as opposed to asking me.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtRats In reply to JeanFan [2011-01-07 03:47:12 +0000 UTC]

hehe i mean maybe i could have a review from u about d80 thats all

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeanFan In reply to ArtRats [2011-01-07 04:21:43 +0000 UTC]

The d80 is good but I don't see anything that special about it such that I would defend it as being better than the d40x, d90, etc. but I wouldn't recommend against it I generally believe that all cameras are capable of taking great photos.

Whatever camera you choose, whatever its brand, price, or level of complexity, if you think it's a great camera, it will be for you.
