Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8 + IR remote. Chalk and dirt to draw the heart on my basement floor. GIMP for post editing. Auto levels. Color balancing. Selective burning to help the chalk question mark part stand out a bit better. Sharpening to help bring out the textures; may have over did it

I like your editing skills; I use GIMP as well but most of my editing has to do with contrast, layering, and color balance. I usually will apply and overlay or a screen and occasionally desaturate the base layer. I am looking to gain some experience in the realms of photography; time will tell. I love your work.
