I love this picture, but I keep staring at it because I've seen most of the other stuff, but I can't for the life of me figure out why I'm so fixated on the bellboy. He seems, besides the woman with the cat, to be the most normal person there.

The woman with the cat isn't normal. She's carrying a birdcage with a bird she clearly fed to the cat, and her shadow is a tentacle monster.

Incredible, almost overwhelming talent in this drawing! As a little old lady of an undisclosed age, I commend you on your talent and ability to tell much much more in a picture than I could have ever imagined, and I look forward to seeing your star rise even further. I made up a vampire myth in my mind that once a mirror has been broken, it shows the vampire's reflection. Alternatively, it broke on her first trip down the right-hand elevator

I must confess I like all the details, but I prefer the subtle bits a little more, makes it kind if otherworldy, like peeking into an alternate world.

I love this! The shadow of the hanging figure in the elevator is great. I love the details. I have to ask because I can't quite place it. Is that a design also on her wrist? Or is it just her veins? Thank you Love your work!

Kitty might have ate the bird, now has to escape the tentacle!
And more shadowy tentacles visible above the skylight look even more ominous.
