Description Reality as they knew it was gone and in a blink they entered an oil slick universe, blots of red yellow and green slid every which

way. Suddenly, Earp hit something with his foot “Oof!” and tumbled aimlessly, it was Atomic, following behind him. The robot shrieked in

joy or in horror, he wasn’t sure which. Earp was ready to give in to that same temptation. Croak floated through the multicolored abyss.

“So Great Anchovy,” Croak began, perfectly calm, match flaring up at the end of his pipe “Have we reached point C or are we still in B?”

“I’m not sure,” replied the voice, a tad worried “You’ve thrown yourself out of continuity.”

Rupert spiraled beneath the medical officer, hands on his head, “I don’t care, get us ooouuut!”

“I can’t do anything-I’m just the Narrator, I wouldn’t know how!”

“What’s a Narrator?” Atomic asked while spinning as though it were a deranged satellite.

“A Narrator tells the story,” the Great Anchovy felt as though it had gone through this once before.

“Ooooh, can I have your job!” the robot clapped his hands excitedly “I always wanted to be a Narrator!”

“Yah, Atomic will get us out,” said Croak, the noisome oaf was obviously hallucinating “Let him be the Anchovy.”

“I-I don’t know,” the voice pondered, “That’s never happened before.”

“Wouldn’t be much different,” said Rupert, the complete twat.

“Excuse me?” Earp heard it snap “You know what Atomic, I’ll give into the idea; being how I’m so unappreciated ‘I’ll let you have a  turn.”

“Wait, you can actually do that?” There was a resounding silence and Earp didn’t like it

“Narrator, what are you doing?!” he shouted, Atomic had also disappeared, much to the frog’s distress “Oh Cod, this is really happening.”

“Hee-hee, this is going to be so much fun!”

Rupert rejected the notion “Like Mo’ it is!”

“I’ve never been a Narrator before,” said the new wonderful and terrific Narrator.

“So, what’s it like up there?” Earp asked in a waning tone of voice.

“This is super…” the wonderful terrific Narrator said with absolute glee “You know, your down there and I'm up here, it seems right."

“Oh, great,” Croak huffed like the bad froggy he is “Now you have a complex.”

“SIELNCE!” the voice became shouty “THE WONDERFUL NARRATOR IS SPEAKING!”

Earp rubbed his ears “Just, take it easy Atomic.”

“Sorry…” the Wonderful Narrator was a little bossy “I better tell the story now…”

The yucky frogs got in the car, right, and it turned all silver and magical and started to drive by its self.

“This is turning out to be one creepy story!” Croak interrupted while the car drove to some place unknown

and magical. They were sitting in the back sharing their  chips and soda with the cute swans and the sweet bunnies!

“Bunnies and swans?” Rupert complained “I want the old one back!”

“But-but-but we haven’t got to the good part,” the voice sobbed, starting to cry.

“Come on, Atomic,” Earp said, folding his arms like a big meanie “Get us back to where we were.”

“You won’t share with the bunnies!” the voice cried harder, the wonderful Narrator was really-really hurt

“Alright, I’ll share with the bunnies,” Earp said like a good frog.

“And the swans?” voice sniffed.

“Yes and the swans!” snapped Rupert, “Just stop crying.”

“Oh, goody,” the Wonderful Narrator clapped its hands and continued telling the wonderful story…

It never ceases to amaze me just how interesting a story revolving around the adventures of a group of frogs can be. And your narrative style always weaves an intricate tapestry of vignettes that drives my imagination wild - you certainly have a wealth of material that you can create stories with for as long as you wish. That's my dream, too. Well done as always, Jeff.
