Description Otherwise known to Codex-compliant chapters as this chapter's rank and file Tactical Marine, Reapers are known as such due to their utter refusal to adhere to the codex other than as a book of ideas that should be picked and chosen from should the tactics within help.
Reapers are a full stealth unit, never revealing themselves to their foe unless it causes the most havoc to their enemy's forces. They utilize terror tactics to full effect, instilling such things as fear, paranoia, and even causing friendly fire with their tactics.
The reason for this is because of the Revenant Marines' philosophy of self preservation above all else.

So, yeah, it should be no secret that I took a lot of inspiration from ninjas to form the Tactical Marines of this chapter, while underlining, circling, and drawing arrows to the part of their regular classification that their brothers in other chapters don't seem to understand: TACTICS.

While, like other Space Marines, the Revenants can utilize any weapon available to the Space Marines as a whole, Reapers of the Revenants focus on only three:
The Shotgun for Close and Mid range combat should they be found out, or if it helps sew terror.
The Power Scythe for close quarters death.
And the Sniper Rifle for long range support.

The general tactics of a Reaper typically involves guerrilla warfare. They don't strike directly at the enemy, but rather focus instead on crippling them. Destroying communications and supply lines, taking out key structures and personnel, and--once more as this is their general theme--sewing terror and paranoia. This is to set up that one, decisive blow that they need to end a war before it can begin.

Before I go on, it should be said that while the Revenant Marines have their specialist rolls, they do *not* have Terminators. Being stealthy guerrilla units, wearing such bulky armor when they don't even engage in open warfare isn't conducive to their combat tactics.
