Perhaps I'm alone on this, but I think that Katsuragi might actually be straight; she just gropes the other girls because she enjoys the reactions she gets.

No, what she said was that she prefers harassing the girls to romancing with the guys. This doesn't actually say anything about her sexual orientation. She could very well be just be sexually harassing the other girls out of enjoyment rather than any sexual gratification.
And I don't mind if she really is a lesbian or not; that doesn't change her character. But if she is, I do doubt she's the only one out of ten.

It's been a while since I've been at that stage in the game, so I didn't remember word for word what she said; I was paraphrasing.
Still, I've seen every episode of the anime and played the game all the way through (Skirting Shadows that is; I'm still trying to find time to finish Crimson Girls), and a good 95% of the stunts Katsuragi pulls can be attributed to her playful, happy-go-lucky personality rather than any sort of sexual interest. Call it a hunch, but I've just got a feeling that, if not completely straight, she's at least bisexual.

Not to mention now Burst is out. I've only recently picked up the hype, and am in the middle of watching the anime, but I plan to know all I can about it. In which order do the games take place? I want to know, so I don't skip over anything. Also is there only one anime of it, cause that's all i've found.

Burst is a compilation of both Skirting Shadows and Crimson Girls. Skirting Shadows, starring the girls from Hanzō Academy, Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyū and Hibari, is the first in the lineup. Crimson Girls, on the other hand, is an alternative retelling of the story from the point of view from the girls of Hebijo Clandestine Girls Academy, Homura, Yomi, Hikage, Mirai and Haruka. Technically, they're the same story, but there re a number of inconsistencies between the two for me to say that they are different from one another. I'd recommend starting with Skirting Shadows.
And yes, there is only the one anime series so far, but there are a few extra "special" episodes to go along with it. These episodes offer absolutely nothing to the story and exist only for the purpose of fanservice. Needless to say, I won't be watching those again, but I'll still watch the main series. Again though, there are a number of inconsistencies that seem to differentiate it from the games, both story-wise and physics-wise.

Yes i'm already to specail episode 4, and the main series is finished. I am LOVING the fan servise. What can I say, i'm a perv. But thank you for the information. It's as I thought, but I wanted to be certain. So both of the games are basicly the anime, or are they different? Also what's up with the 10 new girls in the game? I don't know anything of them, except the few moves I saw.

It's not that I don't like fanservice; I do. But it's one of those things that I think needs to be in moderation and can't detract from the story. As it is, the main series is already pushing it.
Technically, they're the same basic story, but there are quite a few differences between all three. There's a few discrepancies with physics (Homura's seventh sword, for example, has different properties between the games and the anime), storyline (Both Super Secret Ninja Arts Scrolls are at Hanzō Academy in the games while there's one in each school in the anime), plot (Dougen is the main antagonist in the anime, but makes no appearance whatsoever in the games), and terminology (Frantic Mode versus Mortal Combat Mode).
What ten new girls are you talking about? You'll have to be more specific, because that's news to me.

In one of the games, there is ten new girls. One wields fans and one has like dark magic. Those are the only two i've gotten a close look at. Oh and one has like a long pole I think. I just found this while looking through random vids on youtube. I'm not sure which game.

Sorry, but my knowledge of the series extends only to Burst, as it's the only game that was brought stateside. I have neither the time, the money, the resources, or, quite frankly, the desire to import and try to translate a region-locked copy of any of the other games. That being said, if and when they do become localized, I'll be the among the first in line to get them.

I never said she WASN'T gay; all I said was that I just have a sneaking suspicion that she might not be what she appears to be. Besides, there are other characters in Senran Kagura that I have a feeling might also be gay as well.

Sorry about that X3. I'm a writer and a comedian, so I'm always trying to look beyond the surface of characters, both real and fictional.
And to answer your question, increasing those stats gives you access to new abilities in battle. Upgrading yang gives you an extra aerial rave turn during shinobi transformation while upgrading yin turns your weak attack into an endless barrage of attacks in frantic mode. Both will also give you an extra bar for your ninja energy in their respective modes, allowing you to use more secret ninja arts quicker.

Ah forget about it, it was kinda fun debating about something I enjoy, suddenly all those forums out there make a bit more sense (just wish they would tone down the hostility sometimes you know?) I hope I wasn't too aggressive or anything.

Still, I have to say that the fact that we managed to avoid an all-out war over something like this says a lot. I have to respect you for that. Compared to some of the other arguments I've had, you were being downright hospitable.
No problem man. Just remember that yang goes up during shinobi transformation and yin goes up during frantic mode, so you'll have to find a balance between the two.
