17 years old, has a light dusting of freckles along nose and cheeks
Kira is a very ordinary looking girl with no features noticeably striking about her. She can be impulsive, bold and quirky at times. She appears strong and sure of herself but is usually just a mask. She is inquisitive and strong willed but is also headstrong and stubborn. She was very unpopular as a child when she went to school and Ethan was her only friend, she would rather be alone than people - kind of introverted nature. She is caring and protective over the things she loves, she never turns down and fight and is a little quick tempered and impatient okay maybe a lot. She is a daddy's girl and although she gets along well with her mom, they don't usually see eye to eye.
As a child she attended a private school in Blackthorn City (normal school is in Violet City) because of her renowned uncle, Professor Elm (her mom's brother). She has been friends with Ethan her whole life and his parents are also family friends of her mom and uncle. (Ethan also went to the same school as Kira).

Kira's dad was a marine ecologist who was also very fascinated about the Legendary Pokemon Lugia. He left to study the shores around Olivine City and the Whirl Islands when Kira was 10 years old, but he never returned after a terrible storm. Everyone presumed he drowned during one of his studies in the ocean, but Kira refuses to believe this. Soon after her father's death her grades at school suffered more than usual, and she got into numerous fights with her classmates. Her mom pulled her out of school and Kira worked at Professor Elm's lab instead. At 16 she was eligible to obtain her trainer's card, but was forced to wait another year when Elm had to leave to Kanto for urgent matters.

Eusine jell--o.deviantart.com/art/Nuz… is another family friend of Kira's dad. He went to the same school Kira's dad, although he's a couple years younger, and works in a similar field as him - more mythology studies though, but also studied as a ecologist. He would assist Kira's dad from time to time, and was especially interested in the Lugia case as well. At the moment Eusine studies the legendary beasts; Entei, Suicune and Raikou - he is more interested in Suicune though. Eusine and Morty are childhood/school friends.
