Description
In the jungle, a bush of fallen leaves in fall colors starts rustling. A long-haired cookie with a flower hair ornament peeks through the leaves, moving some out of the way. It's the jungle warrior herself, Tiger Lily Cookie - guarded by both leaves and her trusty spear, ready to attack and protect her precious Butter Tiger.

Oh yeah! If you couldn't tell, today's official Inktober theme was "Guarded" and the Cookie Run one was "Leaves", so I thought I'd combine them both in an interesting way while trying to draw our friend Lily for the first time.

Raised on her own in the jungle, Tiger Lily Cookie's best friend and trusty companion is her Butter Tiger. (I didn't draw it, though.) With a stoic expression on her face most of the time and roars incorporated into her speech, it may not seem like it first but Tiger Lily is really a soft-hearted, delicate girl who does what she does all because she cares about her friends and keeping them safe.

Tiger Lily Cookie became a favorite of mine just this month! I didn't scout her until September and didn't use her too much but once I got to know her more, I started liking her more. In 4th grade I was in a summer camp production of "Peter Pan" which had a helpful female character named Tiger Lily who lived in a jungle (IIRC); I'm not 100% sure if this character also appeared in more famous adaptations of the Peter Pan story (Disney movie, Broadway musicals, etc.) but I thought this cookie was based on the character at first. Now I know she's just supposed to be based on the flower. I like how they gave it a clever twist by playing up the "tiger" part of the flower's name, with her Butter Tiger, tiger-printed dress, and whatnot.

Lily took longer than I wanted her to take but I loved to draw her, she's so cute and fluffy (especially her hair and THICCCQQQQ thighs )! Her design reminds me somewhat of my OC Mikayla, specifically the way her bangs are parted.
