At long last, the birthday of my favorite Animal Crossing villager has come! It's Marina the lovely octopus!

I don't know what drew me towards Marina so much, but for some reason I just grew to adore this octopus - I think it's because she is cute, sweet, and unique! She is also my favorite color~! The Dreamy Sweater she wears is one of my favorite items in the game so that was part of it, even though Merry has the same one xD I really like both Marina and Merry, but I think Marina's more distinct so that's why I started liking her a lot She's also a sweetie, being one of the Normal villagers! She acts just as sweet as she looks, which is a plus!

The background and aesthetic of this whole piece was intended as dreamy as well, to match with Marina's ensemble. Imagine clouds and shooting stars underwater - I'm sure that's something Marina would do on a daily basis. But then again, she, like all AC villagers who are octopi, breathes and moves above land like she's never known how to breathe water like octopi should
