"Amare et sapere vix deo conceditur..."And so, the beautiful thirty-second chapter of our beloved SasuSaku story, Quietus, has inspired me to draw (again). Hahaha! This time, it was harder for me to plot out the colors, cause I really just wanted an artwork of them in that yin-yang pose. I browsed through so many laying down positions for some reference. I thank all the yin-yang poses. Anatomy is hard for me, so I just had to experiment. I wanted a very distinct separation or a "wall" between Hades and Persephone, but I didn't know how to pull it off without making the "wall" look obvious. Alas, winter and spring speak for themselves.
I really loved the flashback part of when
[SPOILER for Chapter 32] Sakura and Sasuke met in the woods and Sasuke discovered Sakura's life-giving gift as a goddess. [End of Spoiler]
Not only was it heart-thumping for me to read, it really was just THAT beautiful.
Butterfly-Chu is definitely dong a brilliant job teasing us with "so close yet so far" moments in the story. *drums fingers at Sasuke* Your self-control astounds me. Truly.
Casus Belli is Latin for "That which causes or justifies war"~ I thought it was befitting the whole drawing. I never knew what to name it so yeah, did a bit of research. Hahaha!

The colours, the symbolism, the softly blendingΒ background. Everything about this is so divine! I'm so in love, I've set this as my desktop wallpaper. It's just THAT inspiring. I adore their clothes. Sakura looks so beautiful, and Sasuke's outfit is so close to the ones I try to describe in the story. He looks so regal. You always capture his dark and brooding persona so well, and he always looks so seductive and tantalising - even in this pose!Β I love the details. The flowers are wonderfully done too. This just fires me up so much. With fabulous drawings like this, how can I be anything but inspired?

Oh my goodness, it also means a lot that you feel Sasuke's "dark and brooding person" with this. I tried my best for the clothes. It was definitely more inspiring to rewatch Greek movies/shows and read more about mythology.
I'm learning so much because of your story and how it inspires me goes beyond anything I can imagine.
