I didn't think I would ever finish this one. I don't know why it was taking me so long
Was supposed to be a simple portrait but that didn't exactly go as planned..
Used my own hand for ref. Why are hands so hard to paint?

I remember my art teacher used to say hands are the most difficult thing to draw... this one is very good (you must have wonderful hands!)

Wow! Really nice! Don't worry, i do traditional drawings and have just started oil paintings, and evan in these mediums hands are still hard to draw! I think it has to do with hands are one the most skeletal parts of the body, that is, they are one of the only parts where there is not alot of meat and flesh on the bone and sticks relatively to the bone structure! Feet are the same, but feet don't really get alot attention paid to them, so as artist we really don't notice how hard feet are!
