But I just never get to see any traditional art on the from page of DA, it's a little sad everyone seems to be loosing touch with doing it good old style

Maybe it's because of the quality. Not all TA is in good quality.
Eg: if it's not scanned, but photoed, colors are not as good as on the paper.
And many tr artists don't correct their pics in digital programs, what is usualy necessary (I do!).
